The Comscore search engine market share figures for the US search market in October have been released by the online tracking firm ComScore.
According to the figures released, Bing's share of the lucrative United State's search and advertising market increased by 0.5 percent in October to 9.9 percent. Google's share stood at 65.4 percent. Yahoo! share declined by 0.8 percent in October to reach 18.0 percent.
Ask.com remained unchanged at 3.9 percent while AOL.com, which uses Google's search index, lost 0.1 percent to stand at 2.9 percent.
Thus Google total share stood at 68.3% while the combined market share of Yahoo! and Bing stood at 27.9% in the U.S. market.
